Dr. Sabbath Udofia

Ikot Ekpeyak Ikono

This great asset was born on the 28th day of November in the year of the Lord 1964. He is from Ikot Ekpeyak Ikono Ibom in Uyo Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State.

This great servant of God had his early childhood education at Government Primary School Ikot Ekpeyak and Ikono Ibom, where he obtained his First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC).

He proceeded to the prestigious Ikono Ibom Comprehensive Secondary School, Ikot Ayan Ikono Ibom in Uyo LGA, where he obtained his West African School Certificate in 1982.

Having developed a strong passion for teaching, this worthy technocrat obtained a Natioinal Certificate in Education in1985. He proceeded to pursue and obtain a bachelor's degree in education (BSc Ed) in 1988.

Again, he proceeded to gain a master's degree (MSc Ed) and still in his thirst for higher education he studied and obtained a doctorate degree (PhD) from the University of Uyo.

This illustrious son of Ikono Ibom Clan in Uyo LGA has served the Government under the Akwa Ibom State Secondary Education Board meritoriously for 23 years.

He Transferred his service to Akwa Ibom State University, Ikot Akpaden, Mkpat Enin where he is still serving.

Rev Dr. Sabbath Udofia is the Superintendent of Qua Iboe Church Ekpene Ukpa Superintendency.

He is seriously connected to his people and he is strongly bent on education of the youths.

He is a strong disciplinarian and a man of impeccable character.

He is a man of integrity, whose pedigree has been tested and proven beyond doubts.

He loves God and loves his people with a passion.

His position on human capital development is strong, firm and non-negotiable.

Dr. Sabbath Udofia is married and the marriage is blessed with two sons and one grandson for now.
